Job Summary
CNA Part Time PM at a Pasadena skilled nursing facility. Responsibilities include providing resident care per Nursing Standards of Care and Title 22/OBRA regulations, monitoring vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, charting, communicating changes in resident condition, following care plans, and maintaining resident rooms. Requires California CNA certification, English communication, ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 40 pounds), CPR certification, and ongoing education for CNA certification. Collaborative team environment with duties including reporting to the Charge Nurse and maintaining resident care safety and quality.
Required Qualifications
- Certified by the State of California as a Certified Nursing Assistant and maintains current certification while employed as a CNA
- Demonstrates the ability to follow oral and written instructions and to write information in English
- Must be able to perform any physical requirement of the position, including lifting dead or unassisted weight of 40 pounds
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English
- Has the desire to care for people, especially the elderly and/or chronically ill
