Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct, hands-on care to residents in a senior living setting under supervision, assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring changes in condition, and supporting a safe, compassionate, person-centered environment. Emphasis on teamwork, effective communication, and respectful, patient-centered care to enhance residents’ quality of life.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred but not required
- Current license as a Certified Nurse Aide in Virginia OR Virginia Board of Nursing approved Geriatric Nurse Aide training OR documentation of clinical nursing coursework with 40+ hours of direct client care
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of employment
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Physical ability to lift/move heavy objects and assist patients as needed
