Job Summary
Provide compassionate, hands-on daily nursing care and services to residents according to their individualized care plans. Assist with personal functions including bathing, dressing, oral care, and mobility while maintaining a calm, positive environment. Measure vital signs, record intake, and promptly report changes in condition or accidents to the Nurse Supervisor. Transport residents between rooms, vehicles, and treatment areas, ensuring proper identification and confidentiality throughout.
Required Qualifications
- ACTIVE South Carolina Nurse Aide Certification
- Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Assistant Program
- Current CPR Certification
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of the state
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
