Provide routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents according to the resident’s assessment and care plan under supervision. Responsibilities include identifying residents before treatments or meals, recording information using authorized abbreviations, reporting changes to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse, documenting accurately on flow sheets and charts, maintaining confidentiality of resident information, adhering to facility policies, assisting with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, mobility, meals), preparing residents’ rooms, escorting residents, ensuring comfort and safety, participating in nursing rounds and shift handoffs, and collaborating with inter-departmental staff to maintain quality care. Requires carrying out nursing procedures within training, observing infection control and safety practices, and following instructions for providing care and reporting incidents.
