Job Summary
Perform personal care and homemaking services for clients in the community under the supervision of the primary nurse. Follow written/oral instructions; assist with ADL, mobility, ROM, and standard precautions; document care and observations for primary nurse/IDG; guide families on safe, comfortable patient care; flexible to work in other locations if needed. Requires High School diploma or GED plus CNA training completion and a Florida CNA license; CPR and BLS; valid FL driver license, automobile insurance, and clear background check; Alzheimer’s/related dementia training. Willing to travel per needs of the program and location.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Certificate of completion of a qualified Certified Nurse Assistant training program
- Current Florida Certified Nursing License
- Must successfully complete a competency evaluation program prior to furnishing services to patients
- CPR certification required
- Valid Florida Driver's License with good record
- Automobile Insurance
- Clear level 2 background check
- Active BLS for healthcare professionals from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Certification of completion of Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias Training through the Florida Department of Elder Affairs
