Job Summary
Deliver quality care by assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, feeding, vital signs monitoring, and mobility exercises. Document resident information accurately on daily forms and report condition changes to the care manager immediately. Maintain infection control standards, adhere to OSHA guidelines, and respond to all call lights while ensuring resident privacy and confidentiality. Provide postmortem care for dying residents and attend mandated in-service education programs. Work full-time Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30pm to 6:30am at Balfour Senior Living in Louisville, CO.
Required Qualifications
- State certification and graduation from a state approved nursing assistant training program
- Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA)
- First Aid certification and CPR
- Must meet State training requirements and/or certifications
- Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including: Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom applications
- Ability to read thermometers, charts, and testing equipment
- Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
- Demonstrated time management, ability to prioritize under competitive demands
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Successfully passing a drug screen
- Successfully passing a TB test
- Successfully passing a Background check
- Successfully passing a Physical Exam
