Job Summary
Deliver quality care by assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, feeding, toileting, transferring, and ambulating. Perform nursing assistant duties such as measuring vital signs, collecting specimens, administering range of motion exercises, and documenting resident information accurately on daily forms. Monitor residents' conditions, recognize behavioral changes, and report immediately to the care manager while adhering to strict infection control guidelines. Respond to all call lights, maintain resident privacy, and provide postmortem care as needed. Work full-time Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30pm to 6:30am at Balfour Senior Living in Louisville, CO.
Required Qualifications
- State certification and graduation from a state approved nursing assistant training program
- Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA)
- First Aid certification and CPR, if required
- Must meet State training requirements and/or certifications
- Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including: Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom applications
- Ability to read thermometers, charts, and testing equipment
- Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
- Demonstrated time management, ability to prioritize under competitive demands
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Successfully passing a drug screen
- TB test
