Job Summary
Assess patient behavior and document observations, model life skills for independent living, and escort clients while assisting with daily activities. Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment by monitoring moods, physical conditions, and promptly reporting significant changes to the clinical team. Provide de-escalation and physical intervention if necessary, and assist with ADLs and medical needs such as feeding and vitals. Work 12-hour shifts, days and nights, in a residential treatment facility dedicated to adolescent mental health recovery.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active Missouri Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Must be 21 years of age
- Physical capability to bend, stoop, lift, and assist with patient interventions
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a healthcare, behavioral, or social services setting
- Education or work experience in psychology, human services, nursing, or social work
