Job Summary
Provide direct patient care under supervision, assisting with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding. Monitor and record vital signs, manage mobility and transfers, and follow aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop care plans, provide airway management support, and offer emotional support to patients and families. Document patient information accurately and timely. Valid certification and experience in hospice or primary care are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a nursing assistant training program
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices
- Familiarity with airway management techniques and respiratory support equipment
- Ability to perform basic nursing skills, such as taking vital signs and assisting with activities of daily living
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in hospice care, primary care, or other healthcare settings
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health conditions
