Job Summary
Delivers and assists in delivery of basic patient care under the guidance of assigned leadership, performing accurate CNA assessments while taking vital signs and communicating abnormal findings per protocol. Coordinates workloads and patient priorities with stakeholders, maintains patient privacy, and documents all care rendered as defined by department procedures. Assists patients with activities of daily living, manages inventory and restocking, and ensures equipment safety and cleanliness to maintain compliance with Medicare and regulatory standards. Works within a team environment to promote a safe, therapeutic environment while maintaining confidentiality and communicating effectively with various audiences. Requires current Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate and CPR certification, with a preference for Home Health Aide certification.
Required Qualifications
- Current Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate
- Current CPR as applicable to assigned area(s)
- Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to learn other software as needed
- Possess an understanding of the confidentiality laws that govern the provider-patient relationship, including but not limited to HIPAA guidelines
- Commitment to working in a team environment
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality as needed
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership
- Pass pre-employment screening (Criminal background check, Reference checks, Drug Screening, Health and Immunizations Screening, Physical Demand Review/Screening)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous work experience in a healthcare setting
- Home Health Aide certification (preferred or must successfully obtain within six (6) months of hire)
