Job Summary
Provides direct care to residents, assisting with ADLs (hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, ambulating, etc.) in a friendly, respectful manner using Life Stories Training; supports Resident Wellness Associates to ensure task completion; documents accurately in resident records; collaborates with team to maintain care quality and empathy; requires ability to pass a drug screen and background check, and potential lifting and physical duties; located in York, PA.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma, GED, or active registry on the Pennsylvania nurse aide registry is required.
- Minimum age of 18 is required.
- Prior experience in the care of elderly is preferred.
- Ability to provide quality assistance to Residents in a professional and caring manner is required.
- The ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing is required.
- The ability to exercise good judgment and make confident ethical decisions is essential.
- Must possess computer skills.
- Requires frequent lifting of Residents, bending, stretching, standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
