Job Summary
CNA or Caregiver needed on every other weekend with 1st and 3rd shifts. Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily life functions (ADLs) in a friendly, respectful manner and using Life Stories Training techniques to minimize resident stress and maximize cooperation. Provide support to other Resident Wellness Associates, ensure consistent follow-through in absence of Life Stories leadership, and complete accurate documentation in Resident records. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED or active PA nurse aide registry, are at least 18 years old, and can communicate effectively in English; drug screen and background check are required. Prior elderly-care experience is preferred. This part-time role offers benefits and perks through IntegraCare.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or active Pennsylvania nurse aide registry
- Minimum age 18
- Prior experience in elderly care preferred
- Ability to assist Residents with ADLs (hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, ambulating)
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to exercise good judgment and ethical decision-making
- Good time management and multitasking abilities
- Computer skills
- Must be able to lift/bend/stretch/stand/walk for extended periods
- Must pass drug screen and background check
