Job Summary
CNA or Caregiver responsibilities include assisting Residents with daily life functions (ADLs such as hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, ambulating) in a friendly, respectful manner using Life Stories Training to minimize stress. Ensure staff follow-through in absence of Life Stories Director or Life Stages Coordinator, support Resident Wellness Associates, and accurately document in Resident records and Move N. Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum age of 18 is required.
- Prior experience (one year) in the care of the elderly is preferred.
- Ability to provide quality assistance to Residents in a professional and caring manner is required.
- The ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing is required.
- The ability to exercise good judgment and make confident ethical decisions is essential.
- Must possess computer skills.
- Requires frequent lifting of Residents, bending, stretching, standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
