Job Summary
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and positioning devices. Monitor patient status by taking vital signs such as pulse and blood pressure, and report concerns to the registered nurse. Perform tasks related to nutrition, hydration, elimination, and restorative care while providing assessment data within the scope of practice. Handle clerical duties like routing patient reports to keep the unit running smoothly. Requires CNA certification, BLS, and high school education. Night shift full-time role at Adventist Health Glendale.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
Desired Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy Certification
- Audiometry and vision training or have a certificate from CHDP
