Job Summary
CNA/Nurse Apprentice on Neuro Surgical Trauma Unit ( nights, 12-hour shifts, Boise, ID ) provides nursing assistance and unit-clerk support under licensed nurse supervision. Responsibilities include nursing care services, personal care, and patient service coordination for post-operative and neuro/neurotrauma patients (brain injuries, spinal injuries, seizures, strokes, other neurological disorders). Schedule requires 2 night shifts weekly (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with flexibility for weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant Certification issued by the State of Idaho OR Nurse Apprentice application on file with Idaho State Board of Nursing OR completion of Trinity Health Nursing Assistant Program
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification (AHA/ARC/Military Training Network) at hire unless ACLS/PALS already defined
- Six months patient care experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Ability to care for Neonate- geriatric as applicable
