Job Summary
CNA/Nursing Assistant/Nurse Apprentice needed for Orthopedic Joint Spine Trauma Unit 9C in Boise, Idaho. Full-time, 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm-7:30am), with possible weeknights, weekends, and holidays. Duties include clerical, receptionist, and patient service coordination tasks, plus nursing care services under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Unit focuses on higher acuity trauma-related injuries, with 32 beds. Employer emphasizes patient-centered care, opportunities for growth, competitive pay, PTO, benefits, and tuition assistance. Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant Certification issued by the State of Idaho
- Maintain a current Nurse Apprentice application on file with the Idaho State Board of Nursing OR complete the Trinity Health Nursing Assistant Program
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (BLS) certification required at hire in all units unless ACLS/PALS are already certified as defined by SAHS Certification Crosswalk
Desired Qualifications
- Six months Certified Nursing Assistant experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification (BLS) required at hire in all units unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in SAHS Certification Crosswalk
- Certified Nursing Assistant Certification issued by the State of Idaho OR maintain a current Nurse Apprentice application on file with the Idaho State Board of Nursing OR complete Trinity Health Nursing Assistant Program
- ACLS and/or PALS certification preferred or required per unit crosswalk
- Nursing Assistant / Nurse Apprentice program enrollment acceptable for Nurse Apprentice role
- Nursing-related clinical experience in acute care settings considered a plus
