Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in the ICU under RN supervision in a 21-bed mixed acuity unit at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. Role includes performing various patient care activities and related non-professional services, primarily during a 12-hour daytime shift (2 shifts per week, 7am–7:30pm) with flexibility for a varied schedule including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Requires Certified Nursing Assistant certification issued by Idaho or current Nurse Apprentice status or completion of the Trinity Nursing Assistant Program. BLS certification is required at hire (ACLS/PALS if already certified). Facilities include a Level II Trauma Center serving neuro, medical, surgical, and trauma patients, and care for Neonate through Geriatric age groups. Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant Certification issued by the State of Idaho OR maintain a current Nurse Apprentice application on file with the Idaho State Board of Nursing OR complete the Trinity Nursing Assistant Program
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk
