Job Summary
Visiting Angels CNA Nurse Aide providing in-home care to clients across the Paris, TX area. Responsibilities include assisting with light physical activity, meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping, monitoring health changes, offering companionship, responding to emergencies, accompanying clients on errands, assisting with medication reminders, and mobility support at home and during appointments. Opportunities for advanced training in dementia and Alzheimer’s care. Shifts offered: Full Time, Part Time, PRN. Benefits include Health, Dental, Vision Insurance, Weekly Pay, and Sign-on Bonus. Requires HS diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable vehicle, First Aid/ emergency response training, strong communication skills, and ability to manage multiple duties with attention to safety and dietary needs.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
- Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
- Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
- Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
- Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
- Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
- Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
