Job Summary
CNA Nurse Aide providing essential in-home care for clients across Albuquerque area. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care and hygiene, light physical activity, meal planning/prep, light housekeeping, reporting health changes, providing companionship, responding to emergencies, accompanying clients on shopping trips, and ensuring medications are reminded and taken as prescribed. Opportunities for advanced training in dementia/Alzheimer’s care. Requires HS diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license with car insurance and a reliable vehicle, strong communication, and time-management skills, plus First Aid/emergency response training. Flexible scheduling with full-time or part-time shifts and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients
- Training in First Aid and emergency response (provided if needed)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to client homes at scheduled times
- Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to dietary constraints
- Willingness to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (e.g., background check)
