Job Summary
As a Visiting Angels CNA Nurse Aide, provide in-home care to clients across East Texas, including personal care and hygiene assistance, light exercise, meal planning, light housekeeping, medication reminders, mobility support, companionship, and emergency responsiveness. Role supports advanced training in dementia/Alzheimer's care and offers flexible shifts (Full Time, Part Time, PRN, 8/10/12 hour shifts) with benefits such as health, dental, vision insurance, holiday pay, referral bonuses, direct deposit, weekly pay, and a sign-on bonus. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, strong communication, First Aid training, time-management, reliable transportation to client homes, comfort with household duties, and adherence to health and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Training in First Aid and emergency response (provided if needed)
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to juggle multiple duties
- Reliable transportation to client homes
- Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to dietary constraints
- Willingness to comply with state and office health and safety standards (e.g., background check)
