Job Summary
Provide personal care, hygiene, and mobility support to clients while assisting with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication management. Accompany clients on shopping trips and errands, reporting any health changes or unusual incidents immediately. Respond quickly and responsibly to emergencies, ensuring all interactions align with custom care plans and state safety standards. Maintain reliable transportation to visit clients across Hamilton County, including Zionsville, Indianapolis, and Carmel.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Training in First Aid and emergency response
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
- Confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
- Comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
- Willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
- Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client
