Job Summary
CNA Night Shift provides daily supportive and functional care to residents in an assisted living setting. Works as part of an interdisciplinary team focusing on residents as the directors of their own care. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, observing and reporting changes to nursing staff, supporting care/service plans, aiding during meals, maintaining residents’ dignity, documenting care in clinical records, and ensuring a clean, safe environment. Requires current CNA certification in MO/IL/PA (or enrollment), strong communication with residents, and a patient-centered approach; part-time evening/night hours with potential weekend requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in Missouri, Illinois, or Pennsylvania (or enrollment/eligibility for enrollment within 120 days of training completion on the Pennsylvania nurse aide registry)
- Ability to communicate with residents
- Desire to be part of a person-centered care team
- Direct patient/resident care experience preferred
