CNA MRMC - Med/Surg/Oncology - 24 hr Eve

Provide constant observation for patients at risk for injury and obtain vital signs, pulse oximetry, and non-invasive blood pressure. Perform blood glucose testing, EKGs, and safe patient transportation while reporting changes in condition or behavior. Manage equipment by retrieving and cleaning it between uses, ensuring call lights are within patient reach and beds are in low position. Maintain a clean environment, wash hands before and after care, and follow infection control guidelines for patients on precautions. Collect and transport specimens per MRMC standards, document intake, output, and vital signs in the electronic medical record, and precept new nursing assistants per department orientation.
