Job Summary
Provide assistance with activities of daily living for memory-care residents, including grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and maintaining resident apartments. Respond to emergencies, document and report care provided, transport residents as needed, and obtain vital signs (height and weight). Must hold an active Kansas CNA and meet state education requirements; CPR and First Aid training are preferred and may be provided by the company. This is a full-time role with hours varying (some weekends/holidays) in Overland Park, KS, focused on caring for elderly residents in memory care.
Required Qualifications
- Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in Kansas
- High School diploma or equivalent
- CPR preferred
- First Aid certification and Heimlich Maneuver training may be facilitated by the company
- Experience with elderly population, memory care preferred
