Job Summary
Operate and manage a diagnostic cart for point-of-care testing while performing phlebotomy and specimen collection with strict adherence to protocols. Assist in administering diagnostic tests, troubleshoot equipment as needed, and provide direct patient support during procedures to ensure safety and comfort. Coordinate telehealth visits between patients, facility staff, and a remote physician by preparing clinical information and communicating real-time findings. Maintain infection control standards and document all services accurately. This role offers a stable weekday schedule with no overnight shifts within a skilled nursing facility, supporting an innovative care model that brings advanced diagnostics directly to geriatric patients.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medication Technician (Med Tech)
- Phlebotomy certification
- Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care setting
- Demonstrated experience performing phlebotomy in a clinical setting
- Strong understanding of geriatric patient care
- Comfortable working with technology, diagnostic equipment, and telehealth platforms
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with a remote clinical team
