Job Summary
Operate and manage a diagnostic cart for point-of-care testing while performing phlebotomy and specimen collection in a skilled nursing facility. Assist in administering diagnostic tests, maintain equipment, and provide direct patient support during procedures with strict adherence to safety protocols. Coordinate telehealth visits by preparing patients and communicating real-time findings to a remote physician to facilitate seamless care delivery. Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate closely with on-site staff to ensure patient comfort and safety. Requires CNA or Med Tech certification with phlebotomy certification and prior SNF experience. Stable weekday schedule with no overnight shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Medication Technician (Med Tech)
- Phlebotomy certification
- Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care setting
- Demonstrated experience performing phlebotomy in a clinical setting
- Strong understanding of geriatric patient care
- Comfortable working with technology, diagnostic equipment, and telehealth platforms
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with a remote clinical team
