Job Summary
Perform basic patient care activities and distribute medications to residents per physician orders while completing required documentation. Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff immediately. Assist patients with meeting their emotional, physical, and spiritual needs, and maintain unit and patient rooms by keeping them stocked, clean, and orderly. Work evenings from 2p to 10p in a part-time role of 24 hours weekly at Gray Birch in Augusta.
Required Qualifications
- A valid State of Maine CNA-M certification
- Certification from an accredited Medication Technician Program (CMT)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A commitment to teamwork and high-quality resident care
