Job Summary
Provide basic patient care under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse in Med/Surg. Maintain patient safety, assist with daily activities, and document care as part of the care team. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff; adapt as needed to meet patient needs. Meet mandatory certifications: CNA certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire, and Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) within 30 days of hire. Strong computer/web-based skills and excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Flexible work schedule including 24/7, weekends, holidays, and on-call availability. This role emphasizes patient safety, adherence to policies, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications
- CNA certification
- BLS within 30 days from hire
- CPI within 30 days from hire
- High School diploma or equivalent
