Job Summary
CNA in Med/Surg on a PRN, varying shifts, delivering direct/indirect patient care under RN/LPN or physician supervision in a swing bed unit. Cross-train to medical, surgical, swing departments and serve as patient sitter as needed. Responsibilities include activities of daily living, feeding, hygiene, mobility, vitals, admissions/discharges/transfers support, documentation, infection control, and participation in CQI initiatives. Must operate within CNA scope of practice, communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff, and maintain patient safety and dignity.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Current CNA certification in the state of Idaho
- Current BLS certificate
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
