Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential resident care in a long-term care setting under supervision. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobility), observing and reporting changes in resident condition, supporting restorative and mobility tasks (transfers, ambulation, assistive devices), documenting care per facility policies, maintaining a safe, clean environment, and offering emotional support to residents and families. Requires CNA certification in North Dakota; clerical training is a plus. Experience or knowledge of medical terminology is preferred but not required. Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and moving residents; shifts may rotate and include weekends and holidays. Strong communication with nursing staff and adherence to infection control and PPE guidelines are essential.
