Job Summary
Deliver personalized, dignified care by supporting elders with daily living needs like grooming, bathing, mobility, feeding, and toileting while preserving their privacy and dignity. Prepare nutritious meals, perform light housekeeping, and maintain a homelike environment that encourages belonging. Respond promptly to call bells, monitor skin integrity, and apply prescribed treatments to promote physical and emotional wellness. Participate in self-managed team rotations as a Care Coordinator, Housekeeping Coordinator, or Food Coordinator, attending regular meetings to solve challenges and shape care strategies. Lead meaningful activities, coordinate special outings, and contribute to the monthly activity newsletter to bring joy to daily life. Complete all required training, in-services, and competencies to stay current, while helping onboard new staff and fostering a culture of support.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CNA certification
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Accurate clinical documentation
- Clear understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Patient privacy
- Hands-on experience delivering patient care
- Assisting in developing care plans
- Consistently follow universal precautions
- Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
