Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide direct patient care in a hospital setting with duties including helping patients bathe, feed, and take medications; assessing vital signs and notifying staff of changes; assisting with mobility, transferring from wheelchair to bed, turning and repositioning to prevent bedsores, and assisting with walking. The role will primarily be based in the hospital but may float to a nursing home and an assisted living facility as needed. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, Illinois CNA certification, and CPR. Strong customer service, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently are required; must be able to lift 50 lbs and communicate in English.
