Job Summary
Support and carry out the organization's mission by performing personal care and home maintenance activities contained in a written Hospice Aide Plan of Care. Recognize and report unusual conditions, incidents, or behaviors of patients and patient/family interactions to the supervising nurse. Maintain utmost respect for confidentiality during care. Work nights from 8pm to 8:30am, committing to 64 hours monthly across Port Charlotte, Arcadia, Venice, and Village on the Isle Hospice Houses. Requires a valid Florida CNA license and one to three years of training or experience, with long-term care experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA License)
- Valid Florida State Driver's License
- One to Three Years of training and/or experience
- One year of experience in a long term care facility
Desired Qualifications
- Must be able to commit to 64 hours a month
