Job Summary
Experienced Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) needed to provide hospice/home health aide services to clients in Berks County, working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver home health, skilled nursing, and palliative care. This full-time role offers 1:1 patient care, flexible scheduling, and a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities include activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, nail care), transfers using mechanical lifting devices, range of motion/exercises, light housekeeping, vital sign checks, oral feeding, and medication assistance. The CNA must be listed on the PA Aide Registry (active/in good standing), pass BAYADA Competency Evaluation, complete a criminal background check, and meet all state requirements. BAYADA provides PPE, infection prevention protocols, and ongoing clinical support; sign-on bonus paid in two increments at 6 months and 1 year. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Active PA Aide Registry, in good standing
- Minimum one year of work experience as a CNA/HHA or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Pass BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
- Criminal background check completed
- Meet all state requirements for CNA role
