Job Summary
Provide personal care, exercise, and ambulation to patients in hospice per state and federal regulations; record and report changes in patients’ mental and physical status to the RN; participate in weekend rotation for scheduled visits; prepare light meals, launder, and perform other household tasks essential to patient health; utilize safety techniques and proper body mechanics when transferring patients and performing care tasks; maintain ongoing educational requirements and support patients and families with compassionate care and clear documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a Certified Nurse Aide program with current certification
- In good standing with state regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with a team and independently with minimal direct supervision
- Proficient computer and technology skills
