Job Summary
Conduct personal care, including bathing and ambulation, for multiple patients daily in their homes throughout King County. Perform household services essential to health care, assist with self-administered medications, and report condition changes to the RN. Complete visit records timely and attend scheduled conferences or education programs. Maintain a valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and pass required fingerprint background checks. Travel to various locations within the county while adhering to agency policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must have an active CNA license
- Must have their transportation, a valid driver's license, and automobile insurance to meet requirements for WA state
- Must be able to complete and pass a Fingerprint background check upon hire, and periodically as required by state law
- Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must possess the ability to read, write and speak English
- Must possess strong oral, written and telephone skills
- Must be dependable
- Certified in First Aid/CPR
- Must be in good health and physically/mentally capable of performing assigned tasks
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
- Ability to work for extended period of time while standing & involving physical activity
- Heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs

- Must be able to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
- Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly
- Ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
- Capable of meeting all requirements that may be specified by the state or other regulatory agencies
