Job Summary
Provide personal care, household support, and companion care services to help adults stay safe and independent at home. Follow a written plan of care by a registered nurse to assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, meal preparation, and feeding. Support clients with range of motion exercises, ambulation, and transfers using mechanical lifting devices while providing medication reminders. Pay ranges from $17-19/hr with flexible full-time, part-time, per diem, and on-call schedules. Requires one year of work experience and 75 hours of RN-led home health training.
Required Qualifications
- one year of work experience
- 75 hours or more of RN led home health training
- CNA license or proof of completion of a CNA program
- HHA certificate or proof of completion of an HHA program
- completed Med-Surg 1
