Job Summary
Provide personal care, therapeutic programming, and emotional support for residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, dining, and mobility assistance. Monitor health status and report changes to the nurse, assist with medications per state regulations, and maintain accurate documentation of services in the computer tracking system. Answer emergency calls promptly and facilitate group and individual engagement activities. Complete required orientation and ongoing in-service training programs. Work part-time or per diem with a wage band of $21.00 to $24.00 per hour, with benefits available for full-time associates.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use computer for documenting services provided
- Fluent in the ability to communicate in the English language, both oral and written
- Completed the course for certified nursing assistant or have equivalent training or experience as required by State Regulation
- CPR and First Aide training as mandated by the State employed
- Current license/certification as required by State Regulation
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience providing direct care or the equivalent in training
- Experience in caring for seniors with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of Dementia
