Job Summary
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and perform daily light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry. Monitor patient health status, report concerns to providers, and offer companionship to promote mental well-being. Provide memory care support for clients with cognitive impairments while ensuring safety. Maintain a current Florida CNA license or Home Health Aide Certificate, hold CPR certification, and possess a driver's license with insurance. Work independently in patient homes across the community, with scheduling flexibility to accommodate personal needs.
Required Qualifications
- Current Florida CNA license or 75- hour Home Health Aide Certificate from a school that is approved through the State of Florida
- Current CPR Certification
- Driver's License and Vehicle Insurance
- Current TB test with negative results
- Ability to pass a Level II background check
- Education & Awareness | Florida Agency for Health Care Administration
- Strong observational skills to effectively monitor patient conditions
- Ability to perform meal preparation, laundry, and light cleaning duties
- Compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and families
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while following care plans
- Working smart phone
