Job Summary
Assist patients and families in achieving physical and emotional comfort as outlined in their plan of care while providing support services under clinical supervision. Promote positive, supportive, and respectful communication with patients and their families. Maintain high integrity by safeguarding confidential patient records and adhere to defined care plans as a team player. Demonstrate a commitment to the hospice philosophy of care and successfully pass background checks and drug screenings. Previous experience in hospice, home health, or geriatrics is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Certified by the state of where services are being provided as a Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide
- Must be of high integrity including maintenance of confidential information including all patient records
- Works as a team player, following directions and adhering to defined care plans
- Can successfully pass background checks
- Can successfully pass background checks & drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospice, home health, or geriatrics
- Minimum of one year of experience in hospice, home health or geriatric care
