Job Summary
Conduct one-on-one personal care for seniors and adults in their homes, including bathing, dressing, grooming, transfers, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. Provide companionship, medication reminders, and assistance with errands or appointments as specified in the care plan. Report any concerns or changes to the office team to ensure client safety and comfort. This role offers flexible daytime, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts with part-time or full-time options. Assisting Hands Home Care, a locally owned agency, matches caregivers with clients based on availability and specific needs.
Required Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA license or classroom HHA certificate
- Successful Level II Background Screening
- Recent TB screening
- Classroom CPR certification
- HIV/AIDS training
- Alzheimer's and Related Dementias training
- Assistance with Self-Administration of Medication training
- Reliable transportation to client homes
- Paid caregiving experience with seniors or adults needing personal care
- Strong communication skills
- Dependable, professional, and caring attitude
