Job Summary
Conduct one-on-one personal care for seniors and adults in their homes, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. Provide companionship, medication reminders, and assist with errands or appointments as specified in the care plan. Report any concerns or changes to the office team. This role offers flexible daytime, evening, and weekend shifts with same-day pay access and mileage reimbursement. Assisting Hands Home Care is a locally owned agency focused on providing personalized, dignified care in the Ponte Vedra Beach and Jacksonville area.
Required Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA license or classroom HHA certificate
- Successful Level II Background Screening
- Recent TB screening
- Classroom CPR certification
- HIV/AIDS training
- Alzheimer's and Related Dementias training
- Assistance with Self-Administration of Medication training
- Reliable transportation to client homes
- Paid caregiving experience with seniors or adults needing personal care
- Strong communication skills
- Dependable, professional, and caring attitude
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort with pets preferred
