Job Summary
Conduct daily in-home care for seniors and adults by assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility transfers, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. Provide companionship, medication reminders, and help with errands or appointments as specified in the care plan. Report any changes, concerns, or schedule issues to the office. Maintain reliability and clear communication while respecting the client's home environment. This role involves flexible weekday, weekend, and evening shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours, with overtime opportunities available. Assisting Hands Home Care is a locally owned agency dedicated to one-on-one care, offering same-day pay access and mileage reimbursement for travel between visits.
Required Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA license or HHA certificate
- Successful Level II Background Screening
- Recent TB screening
- Classroom CPR certification
- HIV/AIDS training
- Alzheimer's and Related Dementias training
- Assistance with Self-Administration of Medication training
- Reliable transportation to client homes
- Experience assisting seniors or adults with personal care
- Strong communication skills
- Professional and dependable attitude
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort with pets preferred, since many clients have animals in the home
