Job Summary
Seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide essential personal care and assistance to patients in a hospice setting. Key responsibilities include performing personal care tasks, communicating effectively with patients and families, taking vital signs, assisting with meal preparation, and observing patient conditions. Ideal candidates should have a CNA certification, a valid HHA certification in California, a background in community health or hospice care, and excellent organizational skills. Required Qualifications
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing
- Must have a current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in California (if applicable)
- Must have completed a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training
- Licensed driver with insured automobile
- Willingness to submit to a criminal background check prior to hire and annually thereafter
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred to have one (1) year experience in community health/hospice or medical/surgical environments
- Current CPR certification
