Job Summary
CNA/Healthcare Tech in Atrium Health Lincoln Emergency Department provides patient care and support in ADLs, personal hygiene, and safety. Duties include taking vital signs and measurements, feeding and ambulating patients, maintaining clean/ orderly rooms, observing/ reporting changes in patient conditions, orienting patients/families to the unit, and performing clerical/data-entry tasks. Technical tasks include administering a 12-lead ECG and routine venipuncture. Requires High School Diploma or GED, Nurse Aide I/II certification, BLS, ability to lift 35 pounds, English proficiency, and compliance with PHI/privacy policies. Schedule is full-time with hours like 9a-9p and a 36-hour week with standard benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I or with the applicable state Board of Nursing as a Nurse Aide II
- BLS required per policy guidelines
- Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds
- English proficiency
- Experience/ability to perform care in Emergency Department setting and perform ADL support
