Job Summary
Perform direct patient care including bathing, skin care, dressing, nail and hair care, and oral hygiene. Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, weight, and temperature, reporting abnormalities to the registered nurse. Assist with transfers, ambulation, positioning, and use of equipment like Hoyer lifts and wheelchairs as directed. Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment while following infection control policies and universal precautions. Act as an advocate for patients and families by offering emotional support and documenting health status and services provided. Report all changes in patient condition, accidents, and incidents to the Case Manager or Clinical Care Manager. Maintain current Florida CNA certification, CPR, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification in the State of Florida as a Certified Nurse
- Must maintain current CPR
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- Valid Auto Insurance
- AHCA Level 2 Fingerprint screening for eligibility through the AHCA Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience preferred
