Job Summary
Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide mobility assistance through transfers and ambulation support while monitoring and reporting changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse. Maintain a clean, safe environment, document care provided per company policies, and offer companionship and emotional support. Remind patients of medication schedules as permitted by state regulations. Full-time role in Gallatin, TN with flexible scheduling and on-call rotation. Requires active CNA certification and at least one year of experience working with the elderly.
Required Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of employment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Previous caregiving or home health experience
- At least one year of experience working with elderly
