Job Summary
Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance in a long-term care facility, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with bathing, grooming, hygiene, mobility, meals, and documentation; works under RN supervision, adheres to infection prevention and PPE protocols, supports psychosocial needs, and participates in care planning and department tasks. Requires active SD CNA certification, high school diploma/GED preferred, with an 8-hour evening shift (2:00 pm–10:30 pm) and 40 hours per week, including every other weekend/holiday rotation; benefits include shift differential, PTO, health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), continuing education, and advancement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Active SD CNA license required at time of hire
- CNA training and certification required and provided by facility
- High school graduate or GED preferred
