Job Summary
Administer and document inhalers, eye drops, ear drops, oral, rectal, and topical medications under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. Assist residents with their physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs while maintaining certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Trained Medication Aide. This full-time or part-time day shift role offers a $10,000 bonus, union status, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan. Required Qualifications
- Must have Minnesota CNA and TMA certifications
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or ability to become certified within six months of hire date
- Board of Nursing approved Trained Medication Aide (TMA) training in state of practice required
- Must have successfully completed the 48 hour approved Minnesota Trained Medication Assistant Course
- Must be registered with the Minnesota Department of Health as a Certified Nursing Assistant
