Job Summary
Administer and document medications including inhalers, eye drops, ear drops, and oral, rectal, and topical formulations under Charge Nurse supervision. Assist residents with physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs while maintaining Minnesota CNA and TMA certifications. Work 12-hour day shifts as a full-time or part-time Medication Aide, with eligible employees receiving a $10,000 bonus. Requires successful completion of the 48-hour approved Minnesota Trained Medication Assistant Course and English proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Must have Minnesota CNA and TMA certifications
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or ability to become certified within six months of hire date
- Board of Nursing approved Trained Medication Aide (TMA) training in state of practice required
- Must have successfully completed the 48 hour approved Minnesota Trained Medication Assistant Course
